  1. Really like the fourth part of “Keith & Kelly’s.”
    Interesting ending phrase in “Last Summer’s.” What are the stories behind the tunes?

Both were written by Ward MacDonald. “Keith and Kelly” graciously host the instructors, one of them being Ward, every year for the Maine Pipes and FIddle Workshops. “Last Summer’s” reel was named so because Ward taught it to Ellen MacPhee one summer, forgot about it, and when Ellen Played it for him the next summer he didn’t remember having written it.
