Bellows blown bagpipes are generally hand-made by craftsmen. The cost of instruments and the waiting time between placing an order and delivery often reflects this fact. How does a prospective player get to try out an instrument before taking a big decision to buy? One option is to apply to the Pipers' Gathering and rent one of our four instruments that are available for a year's hire - August to August to coincide with the Pipers' Gathering event.
