The Pipers' Gathering Board thought it would be nice to offer an opportunity for friends of the Pipers' Gathering to exchange messages of general interest and possibly exchange information relating to rides and transportation to/from the Gathering-- so we've setup this on-line forum on our new website.

Hello and thanks for the updated website. Bob Cameron here. I'm sorry I will have to miss the Pipers' Gathering this year for only the second time since my first in 1999. I'll have to forsake the cool breezes of the Champlain Valley to play for a family wedding in SE South Carolina. It's nice to have these forums to stay abreast of topics, though.

I did play my Lowland pipes for a wedding in Early May. It was a surprise wedding, in fact, so I'd expect a tune of that title in the near future

hello. i'm but a piper-to-be as yet - i'm studying the tin whistle with Bill Ochs while Seth Gallagher makes my uilleann half set, of which i expect to take delivery about this time next year. this gathering looks great to me though and i'm sure i'd like to attend. thanks for the welcome; i'll look around some more and register for the gathering when i'm sure my schedule will allow me to go.
